Smile Necro's many hats

I usually go N/Mo when I'm playing a MM or Blood Spiker.
As MM, I'll put some points into healing and bring Healing Breeze and occasionally bring Heal Area for my minions. Healing Breeze is nice because you can cast it on yourself or others - it really helps out the monks on the team.
Blood Spiker doesn't have much advantage for /Mo, I just like having the unlimited rez - usually rebirth.

If I'm running Spiteful Spirit, N/Me is nice because of Arcane Echo. You can spam SS much faster!

I personally don't find degen builds very exciting.

First of all, MMs, in any situation are not useless. I send out my PvP MM into the battle fields of ABs, GvGs, HoH's, and HA's. Never has it gone useless. Never, and they never will. However, it is the same PvE as it is in PvP, one corpse of the enemy, dominates all... I personally like to say - "One corpse is death, death is a bunch of corpses."

Oh, and if you are looking for a N/Me build, there are many, here are some I personally find good fit for PvP, I change them just a slight bit for 55 PvP farm.

My SS Necro Build with N/Me for 55 2 man Underworld farming:
1. SS
2. Reckless Haste
3. Arcane Echo
4. Sympathetic Visage
5. Ancestors Visage
6. Blood Ritual
7. Resurrection Signet
8. Whatever the monk wants for 55 underworld farming.
Attributes are: 10 Illusion Magic, 8 Soul Reaping + 1 Rune of Minor Soul Reaping, and 12 Curses + 4 Rune of Superior Curses.

My second build, which is another common PvP build, is this:
1. Fragility
2. Conjure Phantasm
3. Images of Remorse
4. Accumulated Pain
5. Virulence
6. Drain Enchantment (for draining any enchantments)
7. Distortion (in case some physical damage dealing person attacks you)
8. Resurrection Signet

12 Curses + 4 Rune of Superior Curses. 12 Illusion Magic + Rune of Superior Illusion Magic.

I don't use what remains. I just keep it there, but I hope my builds have helped you.

Well why not? With my N/Mo I stay behind near the casters area so the Warriors can tank in. Unless there's a better strategy for some Necromancer Primary to go in there. Curses will support the mighty Virulence! However, I put Rune of Superior Illusion Magic, because a majority of the spells used are from Illusion Magic, or Mesmer Secondary.

You do know that you can only use runes for your primary profession ?
It is IMPOSSIBLE for you to equip a curses (Necro) rune along with an illusion (mesmer) rune on the same character.
If you have a character that is wearing both I'd love to see it - if you have a primary Necro with an illusion rune I'd love to see that too

I was gonna say it's impossible to have a 16 in your secondary class. I've tried it before too, what a waste of 100g.
